Your words are written truthfully and from the heart. Your truth and heartfelt words, are shared by many mothers who refuse to kneel anymore to agendas of those groups/orgs who are apologists for the adoption industry and/or have only ONE agenda, their own.

Your words speak volumes to your compassion, intelligence and resolve. I for one am glad that thru the Internet, I found you Robin, and many, many more women like you. You have helped me more than you can ever know to self-reflect and to open my eyes wide to the injustices committed on, about and against mothers of adoption loss. And whether some adopted people choose not to believe, those same 'injustices' were committed against them as well, via the separation from their Mothers.

Thank You!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33752164.post-1158008127915719072006-09-11T18:55:00.000-02:002006-09-11T18:55:00.000-02:00Robin, As you are at the easel, I hope you find ...Robin,
As you are at the easel, I hope you find the peace and nourishment that you have given to so many whom would have never been aware of the "adoption condition" they are struggling without the strong voices of the BSE mothers.

I hope you will share your next painting with us as well as your words. I, for one, am looking forward to seeing it already.

Smells the oil and smiles at you,

lamecherryAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33752164.post-1158004018672293882006-09-11T17:46:00.000-02:002006-09-11T17:46:00.000-02:00Your voice is needed. I'm 38 and was reunited with my mom 2 years ago. My mom won't talk about what happened - I think it hurts her too much and I have strived to understand her and help her as best I can. I recently gave her a copy of the book in hopes that it will help her know that she is not alone - and maybe help give her a voice so we can finally talk in depth about our feelings. Thank you for your courage in being open and honest and telling your story. I hope that it will not only help my mother, but also other mothers out there who feel they have to remain silent.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33752164.post-1157988158529814212006-09-11T13:22:00.000-02:002006-09-11T13:22:00.000-02:00when I read your blog,I feel like a professional w...when I read your blog,I feel like a professional writer is the author.
Dang R,you HAVE the gift.Anyways,I am an adopter and adoptee and mom to bio kept child and we know each other.I am lara. Those mentioned places, alt.ad and adopt.con are a loss, really. They damage and trigger more than any benefit to spread the truth could even touch.
Don't let the thousands who hear you and respect you, be robbed of your UNSPUN truth by those lost causes sucking the life breath out of you.I wish you would write a BOOK!!!!!!!!Then the message gets out and they can't talk smack to you when the truth prickles their horns and tail;~))Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33752164.post-1157984418917820142006-09-11T12:20:00.000-02:002006-09-11T12:20:00.000-02:00"Indeed....if only Chocolate could be a remedy."Yo..."Indeed....if only Chocolate could be a remedy."

You've got that right, Maeday. Right now, it is just another dangerous escape tool that loses effectiveness when you step on the scales. But liquor and drugs are worse.
